Christian Lee has been claiming for the better part of a year that Ok Rae Yoon does not deserve to hold the ONE Championship lightweight title, and on Friday morning he proved his point by mercilessly halting Ok with a succession of grounded knees in the main event of ONE Championship 160.
Lee and Ok first fought in September 2021, with Ok winning a contentious decision to take Lee’s lightweight belt. In the build-up to their rematch, Lee asserted that he was the superior fighter and that he would make that clear this time. Lee did not disappoint, instantly overwhelming Ok with devastating punches and knees that had Ok on the backfoot
Though Ok survived the first round, Lee resumed his assault in the second, dropping the lightweight champion with an overhand right and then brutalizing him with a succession of grounded knees (allowed in ONE Championship) to claim the lightweight title.
